Projektmenedzsment-érettség vizsgálata közszférában tevékenykedő szolgáltatásfókuszú vállalatok példája alapján

A projektmenedzsment szempontjából érett szervezetek nagyobb mértékben képesek biztosítani a projektek sikeres teljesítését, így képesek lehetnek komoly versenyelőnyre szert tenni versenytársaikkal szemben. Ebből fakadóan számos olyan modell létezik a szakirodalomban, amely hatékonyan és hatásosan tudja értékelni a projektmenedzsment-érettség mértékét. Azonban a közszférára szakosodott modellek száma kevesebb, különösen, ha olyan szervezeteket veszünk figyelembe, amelyek jelentős mennyiségű szolgáltatási vagy termékfejlesztési projektet indítanak, azaz fontos számukra a megfelelő technológiamenedzsment. A szerzők megállapítják, hogy Cooke-Davies és Arzymanow modellje a projektmenedzsment támogatásának mértékével, valamint a projektvezető képzésével kiegészítve jól illeszkedik ilyen szervezetekre is, és így megfelelő módon képes értékelni azok projektmenedzsment-érettségét is. A szerzők továbbá olyan fejlesztési javaslatokat is megfogalmaznak a modellek alapján, amelyek javíthatják az adott szervezet projektmenedzsment gyakorlatát.
