Complaints and appeals

Complaints against the journal, its staff, editorial board, or publisher should be submitted in writing and will be reviewed promptly by an independent ad-hoc committee to ensure impartiality. The process should guarantee confidentiality, fair investigation. The journal will communicate the outcomes to the complainants and takes necessary measures to prevent future occurrences.

The author has the right to object or appeal by using the contact form or by a letter to the editor- in-chief, or publisher. The editor-in-chief is obliged to acquaint the team of associate editors with the authors’ appeal and after discussion the team of associate editors comes up with a final decision. In general, COPE’s Flowcharts on handling complaints and responding to possible misconduct /inappropriate behaviour will be followed. Legal disputes against the journal, its staff, editorial board or publisher are treated according to the laws of the Republic of Hungary.
