A formális önkéntesek mozgósítási kihívásai
Klaszterelemzés egy empirikus kutatás alapján

Az önkéntes tevékenységekben való részvétel növekvő tendenciája ellenére a potenciális önkéntesek hatékony mozgósítása továbbra is kihívást jelent. Ennek megértéséhez kulcsfontosságú az önkéntességet gátló tényezők feltárása, valamint a potenciális résztvevők különböző csoportjainak azonosítása. A szerzők pilot online kérdőíves kutatásuk során a gátló tényezőket a ,,nem tud”, ,,nem akar” és ,,nem kérték” dimenziók mentén vizsgálták. Klaszterelemzés alapján három, egymástól jól elkülöníthető csoport rajzolódott ki: a gyengén gátoltak (n=189), a többszörösen akadályozottak (n=65) és a várakozó potenciális önkéntesek (n=107). A klasztertagság szignifikáns kapcsolatot mutatott a nemmel, a vallásossággal,az önkéntes közösségi motivációval és a korábbi önkéntes tapasztalattal. Kutatásuk korlátai a nem valószínűségi mintavételből, illetve a minta alacsony elemszámából fakadnak, így az eredmények nem általánosíthatók. Eredményeik ugyanakkor rámutatnak arra, hogy az önkéntes szervezetek számára differenciált toborzási stratégiák alkalmazása indokolt lehet. Különösen a várakozó potenciális önkéntesek csoportja érdemel figyelmet, mivel e csoport tagjai nyitottak a részvételre, azonban korábban nem szólították meg őket.
