A tanulmány dinamikus paneles adatelemzést alkalmaz a kétlépcsős GMM-becslő segítségével. A bankok stabilitását a z-score, a versenyt a Panzar-Rosse-modell, a digitalizációt pedig egy összetett index segítségével mérik. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a banki verseny javítja a stabilitást, míg a digitalizáció önmagában kezdetben növeli a kockázatot a működési sérülékenységek miatt. A verseny és a digitalizáció közötti kölcsönhatás azonban pozitív és stabilizáló hatású, javítja a kockázatkezelést és a hatékonyságot. Ezek az eredmények rávilágítanak a digitalizáció átalakító szerepére, hangsúlyozva a kiegyensúlyozott versenypolitikák és a digitális átvétel támogatásának szükségességét a feltörekvő piacok pénzügyi stabilitásának biztosítása érdekében.
