Jerry Ravetz: Az elővigyázatosság posztnormál tudománya

A tudomány manapság új és nehéz helyzetben találja magát. A hagyományos optimista kép minden szempontból kompromittálódott és problematikussá vált. A tudomány rendszere bizalmi, legitimitásbeli és végső soron hatalmi válsággal néz szembe. A tudománynak célszerűen két típusát tudjuk megkülönböztetni. A főáram redukcionista, és egyre inkább az iparhoz kötődik. Ezzel szemben a posztnormál megközelítés az elővigyázatosság elvét testesíti meg.
