The emergence of technological innovations - due to the accelerating pace of technological development - is constantly posing new challenges for companies, and the need to keep pace with technological changes and paradigm shifts is evident in both theoretical research and business thinking. The emergence of technologies collectively known as Cloud Computing fits into this trend, and their use has been spread in the corporate environment since the early 2010s. The specificities of cloud computing services are particularly well suited to the specificities of small and medium-sized enterprises, but the diffusion and awareness of the technology is not matched by the potential benefits of cloud computing solutions. The aim of this study is to investigate the current use and diffusion of cloud computing technology among domestic SMEs and large enterprises, based on an analysis of representative data. In my empirical research, I used representative data from Eurostat and the Central Statistical Office. These data show that during the period under study (2014-2021), there were different levels of growth among domestic enterprises (small enterprises: 14.4 percentage points, medium-sized enterprises: 29.7 percentage points, large enterprises: 46.5 percentage points), and the gap between the category of enterprises by number increased steadily. The largest difference is between small enterprises and large enterprises, with a difference of 41.7 percentage points in 2021.
