Also, recent years have created a great number of significant new sources of legislation, case law decisions and official decisions both in Europe and in Hungary that deserve closer examination. The main aim of the study is to examine the employment case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights, as well as the Hungarian Curia and the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority, related to the recruitment and selection practices of organizations and the control of employees. The study is using the document analysis method to provide guidance regarding the demarcation line between jobseekers’ and employees’ right to privacy and the employers’ right to information.</p> ER -
