The authors’ own research was designed according to a theoretical and empirical framework concentrated on the leaders’ role and perception bias, with special notice taken of SMEs with a high level of internationalisation. The results show both a direct and an indirect managerial effect, wherein strategic orientation, recognition of growth options, resource management, and creating a mission-friendly organisational structure are all leadership capacities in the SME sector. Due to the parameters of the research, its results are not of a general nature but nevertheless provide for a good basis for understanding and further analysing SMEs’ success.</p></div></div></div></div> ER -
